JANE RIDING GLOVE - Hand Oiled

Our Hand Oiled Riding Gloves begin as our standard Nappa cowhide glove and are individually treated by hand at our Brooklyn shop using Huberd's Shoe Grease.

The blend of pine tar, beeswax, and natural oils penetrates the aniline leather, increasing its resistance to water while helping protect it from drying and cracking over years of use. The treatment also enriches the color, highlights the natural grain, and accelerates the development of a unique patina that continues to evolve with every ride.

Each pair is hand finished, so slight variations in tone are expected and part of the character of the process.

For the last 13 years, we've been making the same glove with only the smallest refinements along the way. Based on a vintage pair from the long-defunct Harold's Gear, we've spent years adjusting the fit, construction, and details until it became the glove we wanted to wear every day.

Made from 100% cowhide leather with nylon stitching, reinforced palms and fingers, outseam construction, and a Velcro wrist closure, these gloves are built for daily riding. Simple, durable, and comfortable from the first ride, they're one of the products we've spent the most time getting right.
