Lined Mechanic's Jacket - Sashiko
Our lined Mechanic's Jacket's simple design makes it a versatile jacket that can be worn on any occasion. We added double pockets with interior zippers to keep your valuables safe, and a 4 ounce liner to keep you warm. The jacket can be worn with optional elbow and shoulder armor.
Sashiko is a striking hand-sewing technique that originated in ancient Japan. In Japanese, its name means “little stabs”—a reference to the plain running stitch that makes up sashiko's geometric, all-over patterns. This fabric is indigo dyed and will fade beautifully over time. Indigo is a natural dye that can bleed so please don't layer over light colors for the first few wears.
