Camo fatigue pants are a New York City staple. We all have a strong memory of them. The reality never quite matched. The fit was off. The details felt dated. They were good, but not what we thought they were.
We set out to build the version we had in our heads.
We sourced a Japanese ripstop that ages the way the old Vietnam era fatigues did. It breaks in, softens, and takes on character with wear, without losing its structure.
From there, we rebuilt the entire pattern to make them work for how we actually live. We split the seam in the crotch to reduce wear and add mobility. We added a large open pocket on the right leg that has become one of our favorite details. It is simple and functional and always useful.
Each cargo pocket runs full Velcro closure. When we travel, that is where passports live. We wanted them secure.
The fit is dialed with a clean taper that sits right over sneakers. These are a lightweight pant that we wear through the summer, so that balance matters.
At the waist, we use a YKK cam buckle with soft nylon webbing. It adjusts easily and stays comfortable all day.
We also reworked the back, removing the traditional fatigue pockets and integrating them into the design so the pant feels cleaner and easier to wear.
These are the pants we wanted all along.
